This week I have been working on a new site design and forum layout. Within the next few days the site will get a complete face lift.

Unrealtournament3.com Site Update
Unrealtournament3.com has been update with the lastest Weapons, Vehicles, and Characters media. I found the characters section, listed as "Opponents", was the most interesting. You get a list of their taunts and audio clips to go along with them. The character that I was disapointed to see had no audio clips was the character Matrix. I'm just glad there is a robot race in UT3 and this is the first I have seen of one. As for the vehicles, we do see some more but nothing that we haven't seen already. The same pretty much goes for the weapons if at least you played the demo that is.

New Unreal Tournament 3 Footage On The PS3

Unreal Tournament 3 Demo Release
Well it's Friday and you guys know what that means. The Unreal Tournament 3 Demo was released today weighing in at only 741.03 MB. I think most of us was expecting something around the two gig range. The demo ships with three maps: HeatRay, ShangriLa and Suspense. We don't get to play Warfare which is kind of disappointing but some demo is better than no demo. Besides the bad news there we do get to play vCTF, DM, TDM, and Duel.
Well now my weekend plans are booked, see you guys in game!

Unreal Tournament 3 Demo Release Date

Over at IGN.com we get a chance to see a closer look at the Delta member of Project Origin with a 18 minute video. Yes you read that right, its 18 minutes of pure gameplay. Nothing extremely new is shown to us, but the start and the end of the video are very interesting to watch. I will be doing another tear down on this video as well within the next few days so stay tuned for that if you enjoy my last tear down.For the time being you can keep watching the video till I get the finish it.

Today I have released my new map called DD-Sensation. Just like in my last glass map (DD-Determination), the glass respawns every one minute. However, Unlike Determination we have three layers of glass to play with. Did anyone say three times more fun? I think so. The map was made to be more visually appealing than Determination was and there are even a few sound effects in the map if you can get past all the glass shattering. I personally think the blood at the bottom is the best but that might just be my sadistic side talking.
In Control/Conquer All you have two control points which are placed on opposite sides of the map, they just happen to be int he same spots as the CTF flag bases as well.

Comic Con UT3 Cam Footage
A person by the name of Princess_Die went to Comic Con and had a chance to take some video footage of UT3 in action. The game was being run on Aleinware 7500 computers and is said that UT3 wasn't even running on full detail. Princess_Die always noticed the following:
Enforcer secondary is a 3 shot burst (no gansta style sideways shooting)
BioRifle secondary isn't instant kill, the glob sticks to you for a little while before bursting so you have a chance to fight back.
According to the hints on the load screen wall dodging is in (didn't get a chance to try it).
Sheild belt and armor where in the level.
Flak secondary distance is very short.
PR secondary is not as powerful as UT or UT2k4.
Sniper Rifle has a red trail when fired.
Hideo Kojima, the main man behind the Metal Gear series, showed off 15 minutes of real time game play inside of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The video shows off different ways you can use the camo suit, a barel (cardboard box), first person or third person camera views, and controlling the Metal Gear MKII. I don't want to spoil to much of the fun so just watch the video already.
